Professional Microbial Control for Stored Fuels
ClearKill is a commercial-grade fuel biocide formulated to eliminate and control microbial contamination in fuels, fuel systems, and other industrial liquids.
It provides broad-spectrum control of bacteria, molds, yeasts, algae, and sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB)—microorganisms responsible for fuel degradation, filter plugging, sludge formation, and microbial-induced corrosion.
Suitable for diesel fuel, biodiesel blends, heating oil, gasoline, and many other industrial liquid applications where microbial contamination is a concern.
Advanced MBO Biocide Chemistry
ClearKill utilizes proven MBO chemistry, a biocide technology that has been used successfully in Europe and other international markets for decades.
The underlying chemistry has been widely recognized for use in fuel preservation applications and has been tested or approved by leading engine manufacturers and organizations, including Mercedes-Benz, MAN, MTU, Deutz, and various NATO and military fuel programs.
Sulfur-Free Formulation
Unlike many fuel biocides, ClearKill contains no sulfur, making it particularly well suited for today's ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) fuels and other sulfur-sensitive storage applications.
Its sulfur-free formulation allows repeated preventative treatment without contributing additional sulfur to stored fuel, making it an excellent choice for long-term storage programs.
Dual-Phase Protection
ClearKill partitions into both the fuel and water phases, allowing it to reach microbial contamination wherever it exists within the system.
This dual-phase activity helps provide more complete microbial control than products that remain primarily in only one phase.
Added Corrosion Protection
In addition to controlling microbial contamination, ClearKill incorporates corrosion-inhibiting technology that helps protect metal fuel system surfaces from corrosion while supporting long-term storage tank and equipment integrity.
