BugCount Fuel XL 3-Test Kits provide rapid ATP-by-filtration microbial testing for fuel, fuel-associated water, and other low-solids liquid samples. Utilizing the Luminase XL enzyme formulation, these kits deliver a fast, interference-resistant method for measuring total living microbial contamination in organic-based fluids.
Built on LuminUltra ATP measurement technology, the XL test method incorporates a filtration and wash step to help reduce interference from non-microbial ATP, providing a more accurate representation of living microbial contamination while using the BugCount XL enzyme chemistry.
Designed for field and shop use, BugCount Fuel XL kits deliver results in under five minutes, allowing faster contamination assessment and more informed operational decisions without the need for off-site laboratory testing.
The test method is compliant with ASTM D7687 and ASTM D7464 standards for microbial contamination testing.
