Fix Your Fuel with Bell Performance Products

We have a solution to your fuel-related problem.

No matter what kind of fuel you use, Bell Performance has a solution to maximize the value and performance of your fuel and minimize your fuel-related problems.

Ethanol users across the country continue to see loss of mileage and water-related performance problems as E10 and (it’s coming) E15 infiltrate gas station pumps in the place of pure gasoline.  Consumers who use ethanol-blended gasoline for their lawn equipment are shocked to find delicate rubber and plastic seals and lines eaten away by ethanol’s corrosive properties. Boat owners, too, know the damaging effects of ethanol all too well and are clamoring for solutions.

Diesel fuel (#2 diesel) powers the bulk of our nation’s large vehicle and heavy transportation sector. Since it is not as refined as gasoline, diesel fuel is dirtier and lends itself to more deposits and dirty emissions than gasoline and ethanol blends.  And with the stringent requirement to use ultra-low sulfur diesel, truckers and other diesel users are running up against lubricity issues and the greater chance of fuel gelling in cold weather.

Nowhere is the US “green revolution” better reflected than the growth of biodiesel use across the country.  B2, B5 and B20 blends give small and large diesel users the chance to be more environmentally friendly through vastly reduced emissions to improve air quality. The price for this greener behavior is a loss of fuel mileage and a biodiesel blend fuel that is more sensitive to oxidation, fuel breakdown and microbial growth (never a good thing).

LPG has found its United States niche as fuel for home heating and cooking, and in some industries that power forklifts and small equipment.  In Europe and Asia it is much more common to find LPG-powered cars and trucks, and these are slowly but inevitably infiltrating the US marketplace. Environmentally-friendly would be the word for cars and trucks running on LPG, but “limited mileage” might also be appropriate.
